Pictures!!!

We had Kaylee's pictures taken a couple of weeks ago. I'm running a little behind with posting to the blog. There are so many things going on right now. Josh is back in school as of today and I started my critical care class last week. Kaylee has been running a fever since yesterday and is not feeling well at all. My clinical's are in Chillicothe and are 12 hour days (boo!). However, the end is in sight and soon I will be out of school, Josh will graduate with his degree in finance in December, and he will be starting grad school in January.

Kaylee has some new favorites. She absolutely, positivity loves going to the park. She confidently climbs up the stairs (with one hand on the handles, the other firmly in mommy's or daddy's hand). She gets to the top and sits down and scoots to the top of the slide. She takes off down the slide and comes running back around to do it again. She loves the slides! At some of the parks we go to, there are bridges to run across, tunnels to crawl through, big slides to go down with mommy and daddy, swings, giant tic-tac-toe games, a lots more to do. We took her to Fryer park where there is a pond, walking paths, multiple play grounds, and lots and lots of grassy area for her to run around and play. That's another favorite of Kaylee's, she is Miss Independent and doesn't want to hold your hand. She holds our hand when she is out and about in stores and on pathways and stuff; but when you hit that grass, she yanks her hand back and takes off running. We bought her a small climber and slide that we can keep inside on those painfully hot days and when it is ridiculously cold in the winter!

She also has a cozy coupe car. This is so funny to watch her play with this. She walks around and says bye, bye and kisses you and gets in her little car. Right now she can only go backwards in the car but it has a foot board that you can put in place so you can steer her around.

Kaylee is also doing something that I think is rather adorable! If you are holding her and not looking directly at her, she will grab you face with both hands, turn your head, and plant a big kiss on you. Her little way of telling you she loves you. She does it when we are cuddling at night before she goes to bed. She likes to cuddle up in that space between your neck and you shoulder with your chin resting on her forehead. If you turn your head to rest away from her's, she will sit up, turn your head, give you a kiss and snuggle up again. I tell you...it just melts your heart.

We went back to the zoo last week and Kaylee finally got to see the polar bears. She loved the elephants this time as well. We bought her a little stuffed elephant named “ellie”.

Other tid bits

  • She tries to say "GO BUCKS", and is doing pretty darn well at it...Daddy is helping her get ready for football season....GO BUCKS!!!
  • She sleeps with her favorite little bear...His name is Bear, Bear...Original right? Hey, that's what she calls it, that's what his name will be.
  • She walks around saying hi to the dogs all day and has started hugging them...The dogs are getting use to it :)
  • She loves hitting the rock...With everyone...Could be a waitress, people at church, the dogs, lol.
  • She enjoys showing people where their nose is.
  • She likes showing off her belly button…She says “bhay buh”
  • She likes music a lot...she loves to dance.

There are lots and lots of things I could go on about, but my sick little girl just woke up and demands cuddle time.

Enjoy the pictures!

The polar bears were amazing!

I forget what I was trying to make...This little booger took the bowl off of the counter and put it on her head. Luckily there was nothing in it and no I didn't use this bowl :)
