Totally Random Pic's

So these pictures will be totally random. I finally decided to download the pictures from our phones. Just think of these pictures as "long lost". Some of these have never been seen except by us. There are some of Kaylee as a baby and all the way up until now.

In other news, I'm still job searching :( A little disappointed that it has taken so long. I am so ready to start my career as a nurse. While it gets stressful, I have faith it will work out when it is suppose to. I am back in school. Almost done with 2 of 10 classes...April can't come fast enough! Doesn't really matter though, I plan on going back again after this AHHHHH! Yep, I'm thinking of getting my NP (Nurse Practitioner).

Josh is almost half way done with grad school. He finishes in April too! Josh is also searching the job market as we both have degrees we would love to use. I tell ya, one day soon this will all fall into place like it is suppose to.

On to Kaylee...She is in her big girl bed now! Totally awesome. Her very first nap was difficult to get her to sleep because she figured out she could just follow me wherever I went. Ever since then, pretty good adjustment. She has quite the imagination. She loves, loves, loves playing pretend with her baby dolls. She loves to feed them (and me and daddy), she changes their clothes and puts diapers on them. She is just amazing.

That's about all I have for this "quick" post.

Enjoy some pictures.

Two Years Old

Where to start???

First, Kaylee is two now…can you believe it? Time flies when you’re having a blast. She is doing amazing and there are lots of little tid bits to add. First, she is a ½ inch shy of three feet tall (undeniably getting her height from daddy, lol). She weighs 27 lbs. She is an amazing little girl that never ceases to amaze me. As I have said before, she can spell her first and middle name and is getting pretty darn good (and cute!), at singing her ABC’s. I do have a video that I will try to post of her that the babysitter caught one day of her singing ABC’s. She loves singing other songs as well such as “row, row, row your boat”, “Jesus loves me” and “twinkle, twinkle little star”.

It just amazes me how one day she can’t do something, then the next day she has it mastered. She climbs the stairs like a pro…up and down. She is talking in small sentences now and has learned our names, which is kind of funny to hear from her, but I guess it’s a good thing for her to know. My favorite thing recently is that she is starting to call me “mommy” instead of “mama”. It’s so cute to hear her try to get it out. She is working on “daddy”…she tries so hard, but this one seems a little harder for her. She loves, loves, loves to talk…it’s always “Mama, what’s that?” or “Dada, look?” She is hilarious in the car because there is always something new and exciting to look at.

She loves being outside. She loves picking flowers, running around and hugging trees. She ran in the sprinkler for the first time last weekend, such a blast.

In other news, Josh is still in grad school and will graduate next May. He actually walks for graduation on Kaylee’s 3rd birthday, how cool is that? I’m starting school again next month with very mixed emotions…I’m very excited and kind of bummed at the same time; I liked being somewhat normal for a change. But I have a goal in mind that I want to reach, and that’s the way to do it…plus if I wait any longer, I wont want to go back, lol.

What else? What else?

We went to the zoo last week. It was very nice. We packed a picnic (complete with a blanket on the ground). That was pretty awesome. We sat under a tree and relaxed in the shade, which was great since it was 92 degrees! We saw a lot of animals including elephants, monkeys, polar bears, kangaroos, and birdies. She even got to see a wild rabbit that came to hang out at the zoo.

I was not aware that the zoo has a little amusement park. They have rides for big kids and rides for little kids. The rides were all empty so she got them all to herself. I rode them with her, but she rode the flying elephants twice, the spinning teacups and the miniature train. We also rode the train inside the zoo and she loved it.

Well, that’s about all I have for right now. Enjoy some pictures and maybe a video if I can get it to work…

RANDOM PICTURE :) Beautiful double rainbow behind my house

Kaylee's 2nd Birthday Cake

Playing with her new doctor kit with her cousins.

Her Hippo pillow that contains this sleeping bag. She was pooped after her party and decided to try it out.

On the big train at the Zoo. She loves her sunglasses.

Watching the animal trick's show at the Zoo. She was so excited and animated that I took a billion pictures of this 30 minute show...I got a few pictures of the animals too, lol.

Kaylee found a new friend...yikes!

She loved riding the carousel.

Waving to Mommy and the camera.

Walking hand in hand with her Dada...So cute!

Cheese!

Kaylee's wild animal friend at the Zoo. It was a wild rabbit hanging around and Kaylee was amazed by it...go figure! Spend all day at the Zoo and she loves watching the one animal we see frequently in our back yard.

Kaylee's ALL time favorite animal....the Elephant (or as Kaylee says..."UNT")

Kaylee petting a baby armadillo.

Petting a turtle.

Kaylee riding her first amusement park ride...the flying elephants. Yes, I'm on it with her...Let's just say I was glad we kind of had the place to ourselves and no one else was around to see me on the flying elephants. Would it be horrible if I thought they were fun too? Maybe it was the company that was so much fun :)

SIDEWALK CHALK!!! YAY!!!

This one loves being outside...She will say cheese for a picture anytime you want...can't guarantee she'll be looking though.

One of her favorite things to do outside...She always, always has to hug a tree...not sure why, but whatever :)

ABC singing video...hope it works.
